Last month, I gave you the word and a nice pic on the upcoming horror indie entitled DEADGIRL. The flick hasn’t even been released yet and it’s already creating some killer buzz. I’ve gotta admit that it does seem to be loaded with great gory potential. Now, after witnessing the pic above, I’m practically convinced!
Damn, it sure looks like said DEADGIRL gets put through the f*cking ringer, literally! At first glance, I couldn’t even tell which end was up or what was actually mutilated! All I knew for certain was that this chick went through some pain! Have yourselves another glance at the plot:
Two teenagers make a shocking discovery that not only threatens their friendship but also their lives. In a forgotten room of an abandoned asylum, they find a beautiful woman tied to a bed, and soon come to realize she is anything but dead.
The flick was co-directed by Marcel Sarmiento and Gadi Harel from a script by Trent Haaga. It stars Shiloh Fernandez, Noah Segan, Michael Bowen, Candice Accola (below), Andrew DiPalma, Eric Podnar, Nolan Funk, and Jenny Spain as the poor, titular “girl”. DEADGIRL will be playing at the “Midnight Madness” section of the Toronto International Film Festival. Hopefully after that, we’ll soon hear some distribution news.
