At the beginning of last week, I gave you the scoop on a forthcoming horror/comedy indie with an 80’s cheese vibe called COVENTRY LANES. Well, the flick has just wrapped and Fango scored a couple of very tasteful pics (above and below).
From the look of those images, I’d say that Mike Watt and Amy Lynn Best of COVENTRY’s production company, Happy Cloud Pictures, weren’t kidding when they said that this flick would be a “sexy horror/comedy, like something you’d catch on USA’s UP ALL NIGHT.” Mr. Watt, who wrote and directed LANES, also added, “We wrapped Sunday, we’re all exhausted, my crew returned to Montreal and I’ll be taking a few days off before we start heading into post.” He still is remaining tight-lipped on the precise plot, but I’m sure he’ll be spilling his guts soon.
The cast includes Sofiya Mina Smirnova (up top), Michael Barton and (below from left to right) Debbie Rochon, Lilith Stabs, Brinke Stevens, Amy Lynn Best (yeah, the producer) and Robyn Griggs. You can check out the flick’s MySpace page here.
