Attention all sensei and students. The future of martial arts mastery is above to arrive… and his name is Scott Adkins (kicking above). This harbinger of high-powered hi-ya will be taking the cinema by storm with the upcoming flick ingeniously titled NINJA. Take a chop at the plot:

A westerner named Casey (Adkins), studying Ninjutsu in Japan, is asked by the Sensei to return to New York to protect the legendary Yoroi Bitsu, an armored chest that contains the weapons of the last Koga Ninja.

Shit! I am just riveted! There really is nothing like a good popcorn flick with some kick. And lucky you, we were given the inside scoop on a butt-load of pics from NINJA. You can view one above, one below and the rest by clicking here. And as an added bonus, we’ve taken the liberty of posting a clip below as proof of Adkins’s ass-kicking prowess. Watch him go to town on Mr. Jean-Claude Van Damme! Just click on the link below!

Oh yeah, and NINJA is set to release some time in 2009. Seriously though, watch out for Mr. Adkins. Mark my words.
