INT: Brendan Fraser

The first time I saw Brendan Fraser in person was at the MTV Movie Awards. He was taking a picture of himself in front of the screaming fans. And here he is in a summer filled with big movies, doing not one, but two summer action flicks. First was JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH and now THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR. His career seems to range from something serious and critically acclaimed such as GODS AND MONSTERS to of course, THE MUMMY franchise. And one can only wonder if more Mummy’s are on the way.

As for Brendan in person, I really liked the guy. I will say that it is one of the most bizarre interviews I’ve ever had. For some reason, we were on different wavelengths and when he talked about going to the center of the earth, I talked about hell. After I brought the place of eternal damnation up, he kept it going. We even had a “pull my finger” moment. It may have been bizarre, but I really enjoyed talking to the guy and I thought he was quite funny. And if you want more Mummy, make sure you check out THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR this Friday at a theatre near you.
