I hate to say that this is a piss-poor, obviously photoshopped cretin of a poster, but… this is a piss-poor, obviously photoshopped cretin of a poster. C’mon Universal, I know you’ve got some dough. Hire some artists!

Sigh… Anyhow, not much more to say on this international poster for the Paul W.S. Anderson flick, other than it just kind’ve makes me wish it were advertising a movie about a giant Jason Statham and a giant Natalie Martinez terrorizing a factory. But no. This is what it’s really about:

Three-time speedway champion Jensen Ames (Statham) is an expert at survival in the harsh landscape that has become our country. Just as he thinks he has turned his life around, the ex-con is framed for a gruesome murder he didn’t commit. Forced to don the mask of the mythical driver Frankenstein—a crowd favorite who seems impossible to kill—Ames is given an easy choice by Terminal Island’s warden (Joan Allen): suit up or rot away in a cell.

The flick also stars Tyrese Gibson and Ian McShane, and hits theaters on August 22… Now lets look at some more Natalie, shall we?
