Now it seems that those attempting suicide may have something else to fear other than becoming a slave in the afterlife. At least, that is the basic premise for the new indie horror from writer/director Bart Mastronardi called VINDICATION, which wrapped principal photography about a month ago. I definitely love that bloody poster up top. What do you think of its plot description? Have a look:

So guilt is the bad guy? That’s a strange choice, but not quite as odd as the “killer air” of THE HAPPENING. I think VINDICATION will have no trouble validating a menacing presence once it is finally released this fall. Plus, two cool additional cast members were just added to the flick in the forms of Raine Brown (below) and Joe Zaso (both were in BARRICADE—our review, and DARKNESS SURROUNDS ROBERTA). Yes, I know I said above that the film had already wrapped photography, but Mastronardi decided to shoot an additional scene that would provide further exposition.
The rest of the cast includes Billy Archiello, Henry Borriello, Zoe Daelman Chlanda, Michael Coyne, Patrick Cronen, and Keith Fraser. You can check out VINDICATION’s MySpace page here.
