“Hello AITH readers… I want to play a game.” Ah, I just love hearing phrases like that around this time of year. It’s just a happy reminder that we’re getting closer to our yearly helping of SAW. I know some feel that the series has become played out, but I just don’t see it. It’s already been four entries thus far, and I’m still having fun each time. Plus, John Kramer (aka Jigsaw) has become such a cool, creepy, fascinating character that I can’t help but be captivated every time his face or his voice appears on the big screen.
And now we have SAW V rapidly approaching and the marketing has just begun! Did you see that amazing teaser poster we posted here?! I had to include it up top as well. And today comes the word that the flick’s official website is up and running. Feel free to click here to check it out. While it’s currently just a preview page, you can bet your torture-loving ass that more will be coming up soon.
The plot for SAW V bleeds like this: Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends. It’s set to open on October 24th!
