Want AvP by Twohy?

Here’s an unusual petition that might pique your interest: some disaffected ALIEN/PREDATOR fan out there is begging 20th Century Fox to hire David Twohy (PITCH BLACK) for a theoretical third ALIEN VS. PREDATOR film. Twohy – pictured above – at one point was maybe/possibly going to direct the original AvP, but couldn’t because of a schedule conflict, resulting in all of us being damned with Paul W.S. Anderson’s pedestrian version. (Interestingly, Twohy was once a writer on ALIEN 3 as well. The man has probably envisioned all sorts of Alien chaos, he needs a chance!)

At the moment there are 1121 signatures… Is this a just cause, or just a hopeless dream..? Would you even WANT Twohy to direct an AvP film, or should the series just die already? It’s probably unrealistic that this will change Fox’s view on the matter one way or the other, but hell, it’s worth a shot.
