Beauty IS the beast! Great tagline! It’s from the upcoming thriller-with-bite called CATWALK directed by WAXWORK helmer Anthony Hickox (who Mr. Ammon just wrote about here). And this little kitty sounds like it’s shaping up to be one sexy bitch! Take a scratch at the premise:
A very modern tale of murders surrounding a top model who may or may not be displaying a beastly dark side. And, as Mr. Hickox puts it, “I have taken CAT PEOPLE and set it in present-day New York. This is my homage to the original Val Lewton/Jacques Tourneur film, which is one of my favorite horror movies ever.
So, wait, are you telling me that we may be getting hot models turning into monstrous pussies (felines, that is)?! Where do I sign up! Hickox even went on to add “The idea behind this project is to create a really sexy, violent horror movie set in the beauty industry.” That just sums it up, doesn’t it? Plus…
It stars uber-hottie Julie Ordon (above) as the leading model/kitty. CATWALK also stars David Caradine (KILL BILL) and Danny Dyer (SEVERANCE), but they’re not as hot, not even close! Hickox wrote the script along with Peter Atkins. A 2009 release is currently planned.
