Thirst behind the scenes video!

CNN has a lengthy video interview with the great Park Chan-Wook, director of the VENGEANCE trilogy and the upcoming THIRST (which I last wrote about HERE). Most of the interview focuses on the man himself, which is fine by me since he appears to be a very thoughtful and likable fellow, but the first minute or so gives us our first real look at his new film, a love story about a Catholic priest who becomes a vampire. Mosey on over to CNN to check it out!

Not much of the plot is revealed, but interestingly, it’s mentioned that the film mostly takes place in one house, in tight, enclosed spaces. BUT, there is also a major spoiler haphazardly revealed concerning the film’s ending (you should turn off the sound when they’re looking at the storyboards).

THIRST will hopefully be seen on our shores later this year – although we’re still waiting for Park’s last flick, I’M A CYBORG, BUT THAT’S OKAY (which we get a little peak at during the video). THIS COMPANY claims it will be releasing the flick on AUGUST 5, which is great news if true.
