Last we told you about the FATAL ATTRACTION-style thriller OBSESSED, Idris Elba, Beyonce Knowles (below), and Ali Larter (above and below) had all joined the cast of the Steve Shill-directed movie, about an asset manager (Elba) with a beautiful wife (Knowles) who becomes the victim of a deranged stalker (Larter). (Sure, it’s a story told many times before, but it’s timeless isn’t it?) Now it looks like this thing is in full swing, with a bevy of actors coming on board.
Jerry O’Connell, Christine Lahti, Bruce McGill, and Scout Taylor-Compton (eager to thrive solely on horror movies, obviously) are all in the flick, which is scheduled to hit theaters next February, courtesy of Screen Gems.
The film was written by David Loughery (MONEY TRAIN, DREAMSCAPE), and is being helmed by Steve Shill. Shill has a vast – and I mean VAST – television resume (including DEADWOOD, DEXTER, ER, and LAW AND ORDER), so it’s good to see that he’s breaking out onto the big-screen for the first time.
