Myspace has the trailer for CHEMICAL WEDDING, which was just unveiled a few days ago at the Cannes Film Festival (seemingly the epicenter of all movie news at the moment). The flick was directed by Julian Doyle and written by Iron Maiden front-man Bruce Dickinson (pictured).

The film is a gothic sci-fi extravaganza set in Trinity College Cambridge, where a scientific experiment goes awry resulting in the resurrection of the infamous Edwardian Occultist Aleister Crowley.

Simon Callow portrays Crowley – who was once dubbed “The Wickedest Man in the World” – in what seems to be a pretty unhinged performance. Then again, the who movie appears rather unhinged. Take a look at the trailer below.

The film is scheduled for a May 30 U.K. release. It’s unknown when we here in the States will get to ogle the freaky-looking flick.
