Just got word today that the psycho DENTIST himself, Corbin Bernsen, has wrapped filming on his latest horror outing, DEAD AIR (which the man directed and co-stars in). You may recall a ways back when Jared directed your attention to the flick’s first official trailer here. This baby doesn’t look too bad. I like the whole “mass hysteria from the point of view of a radio station” idea. Seems pretty intense and fun.
Bernsen and his crew are now in post-production and are aiming for an October 2008 release. The script by Kenny Yakkel is being labeled as a “politically-charged tale” about Logan Burnhardt (played by Bill Moseley), the ego-king of the airwaves, whose unflappable persona is put to the test when a terrorist bio-attack unleashes a plague of flesh-ripping maniacs on Los Angeles.
DEAD AIR also stars David Moscow, Patricia Tallman, Elle Travis (below), and Joshua Feinman. I’ll keep you updated on any further info that floats our way.
