New Dance poster

A couple of months ago we saw the first glimpse at the poster for the upcoming teen comedy (with zombies) DANCE OF THE DEAD (check that shite out HERE). Today IMPawards scored yet another poster for the flick, which is really pimping out the praise the film has received thus far.

While I understand and can appreciate what they’re doing here, I can’t say that I like it as far as a good-looking poster goes. In fact, for a poster, this one kinda sucks. I like the tiny pic of the cast gretting ready to kick zombie butt, but they’re way too small compared to all of the massive quotes around it. What’s up with that?

At least the first poster we saw for it had the funny tagline, and was easily readable as to what the movie was about. This? It’s a funny horror movie… that’s about all I can gather from it. Lame!

To help you out, DANCE OF THE DEAD goes like this: On the night of the big High-School Prom, the dead rise to eat the living, and the only people who can stop them are the losers who couldn’t get dates to the dance.

To check out a larger version of the poster, click HERE, and get ready for DANCE OF THE DEAD hitting DVD October 20, 2008.

Yay for slutty Prom hotties!
