Here’s some news that’s sure to throw you for a loop: B-D is reporting that Shawnee Smith, SAW series hottie extrodinaire, has a starring role in the upcoming GRUDGE sequel, THE GRUDGE 3!
The report doesn’t say how big of a role Smith has, only that she just returned from the set after filming her scenes. Could be a big part, could be a small part, either way–I’m totally there! Maybe this sequel will have some redeeming qualities after all, eh?
Headed straight to DVD, THE GRUDGE 3 also stars Beau Mirchoff and Johanna E. Braddy, and it goes a little something like this: A news crew travels to Tokyo after hearing about the curse that took out a whole apartment complex. When the lead reporter finds out she’s pregnant strange things begin to occur leading her to wonder what she may be carrying.
Sounds bizarre and totally unrelated to the rest of the series, so no wonder it’s going STD! Smith’s involvement hasn’t been ‘officially’ confirmed (nor has it been denied), so we’re gonna be keeping this as a rumor for right now… that said, rumor’s like this tend to be true in the end!
