Midnight Man speaks!

STYD had a chance to sit down with FEAST writer Marcus Dunstan, who is currently in post-production of MIDNIGHT MAN, a film he wrote with long-time collaborator Patrick Melton. What the flock is MIDNIGHT MAN, you might ask? It’s one horror flick to keep you’re eyes on this year, that’s what it is!

First off, MIDNIGHT MAN goes like this: Desperate to repay his debt to his ex-wife, an ex-con plots a heist at his new employer’s country home, unaware that a second criminal has also targeted the property, and rigged it with a series of deadly traps.

If that doesn’t have you sucked in and wanting more, then maybe the fact that the Marcus and Melton team have also written FEAST 2: SLOPPY SECONDS, FEAST 3: THE HAPPY FINISH, SAW IV, SAW V, and the HELLRAISER remake. The man has found a niche in the genre, and he seems to be rolling with it quite well thus far.

Marcus dished a lot of information regarding MIDNIGHT MAN–here’s a brief snippet of what he had to say about what we can expect: The first half of the movie is absolutely a thriller and then a horror movie literally unlocks the door and starts knocking everybody down. Two movies collide at the dead center.

Nice! Sounds like something right up my alley! To check out the full interview, in which a scene involving a cat is discussed, click HERE, and get ready for MIDNIGHT MAN sometime later this year (no date has been set).
