Ground House site

How do you take your horror? With or without cream? I only ask because there seems to be a new genre flick brewing about a deadly coffee shop called THE GROUND HOUSE. You can check out the first teaser trailer at the film’s official website here. Icons of Fright (who supplied the pic of three hot coffee girls above) first caught the aroma of this flick at last weekend’s Monster Mania X show where the website was being promoted.

Though the website does have a cool, grimy, coffee-stained look to it, not much else is offered beyond the trailer. All we get is a couple of vague images and two tag lines: “Another Hellthy Harvest” and ”Two brothers, a coffee shop”.

After adding all that up, I’m guessing the plot for THE GROUND HOUSE has something to do with bloody sacrifices in the bowls of a Starbucks-ish establishment. And that sounds like cool coffee beans to me! As for a release date, the end of the trailer states “Brewing 2008” so I guess I’ll keep you posted if anything bubbles up.
