I Scream delayed

George McFly himself, Crispin Glover, has just given word that production has been delayed on his Good-Humor-Man-from-Hell slash-fest, THE I SCREAM MAN, because of financial and legal issues. However, according to Glover, who was set to play the flick’s titular foe, don’t count him out just yet: “When they are ready to go and still want me, I will do it,” he said in a recent interview. “We were supposed to go into production, and I would like to go into production soon, but I don’t have the details yet of when that will happen.”

I sure hope those delaying issues get resolved fast because the film’s plot sounds pretty cool and sweet (like a big ol’ scoop of Rocky Road): A small, sleepy town with a dark secret gets a taste of death when a psychologically bruised street vendor shows up wielding something much sharper than an ice cream scoop.

The script, by J.T. Mollner (who will also direct), promises to serve up a heaping sundae of gruesomely unique kills. Along with the ghoulishly cheeky Mr. Glover, the flick is set to star Michael Madsen, Judd Nelson, Fred Ward, and hottie Haylie Duff (whose cheeks I wouldn’t mind checking out, below).
