Brian Cox, who has been in about 293 movies in the past 5 years (the upcoming TRICK ‘R TREAT and RED included), has joined Josh Lucas in TELL-TALE, which will be directed by Michael Cuesta (DEXTER). The film, written by Dave Callaham, is an “adaptation” of the famous Edgar Allan Poe story.
The original TELL-TALE HEART had a plotline NOT AT ALL similar to this: A man’s newly transplanted heart leads him on a dangerous journey to find out who murdered its donor.
Why not just adapt the story (the tale of a murderer racked with paranoia and guilt) correctly? Or, at the very least, give this film a different title. Like BODY PARTS 2…
Shooting begins in Rhode Island this March.
