Giallo picked up by TWC

It would appear the the Weinstein’s really like the new Dario Argento! Having snatched up MOTHER OF TEARS last year for distribution (to be released next month, supposedly), the Weinstein Co. has agreed to handle U.S. and Latin America rights for GIALLO – which already has distribution deals inked for a number of overseas territories. (Or is that “TERRORtories!” Heh heh.. uhh… I’m sorry.)

In GIALLO, Vincent Gallo stars as a serial killer being hunted by a detective, played by Ray Liotta. Asia Argento (pictured) co-stars, in what I’m sure will be another ickily sexy role given to her by her poppa.

Currently underway in Turin, Italy, the flick was written by Sean Keller and Jim Agnew, who also penned what could be John Carpenter’s next project: L.A. GOTHIC. We’ll hand-off new info as soon as it comes in! (Can an Udo Kier casting announcement be far behind??)
