X-Files monster!!

WARNING! Potential MAJOR spoilers below!!

Our bro’s over at JoBlo.com have scored some very intriguing pics from the set of X-FILES 2, courtesy of a well-placed scooper. What we’re looking at might just be the film’s villain – or at least half of him. If this dude isn’t what Mulder and Scully are up against, he’s still a pretty nasty customer – I’m sure even nastier when he isn’t hanging around shooting the shit with the crew (director Chris Carter is on the right).

I’m just loving that X-FILES is going with their classic “monster of the week” approach with this movie (also loving that there’s actually practical effects being used!). Frankly, the whole alien/conspiracy angle got tired long before the final episodes aired (I might catch some flack for that). I want X-FILES horror-style, and if this hairy mutha is any indication, I’m going to get it!
