Cloverfield monster peek?

Here he is, Mr. Cloverfield himself! Okay, not really, but it’s about as good a look at the monster as we’ve gotten so far. Unfortunately, he’s kind’ve covered in smoke and missle-blasts in a shot unnervingly reminiscent of GODZILLA. Yes, the similarities to that movie, handheld camerawork aside, keep piling up – when you also consider that there are smaller creatures running amok in addition to that giant sonofabitch knocking down buildings.

Luckily, there’s no chance CLOVERFIELD will be worse than Roland Emmerich’s movie, since that’s a massive hunk of steamy shite, and this film will be awesome and everything we’ve hoped for… I’m just going to keep telling myself that, leave me alone!
