Earlier today we received a press release revealing the opening night selection of the 2008 Hoboken International Film Festival: it’s called iMURDERS, starring Gabrielle Anwar, William Forsythe, Charles Durning, Tony Todd, and that original gangsta Billy Dee Williams. Billy Dee will also be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The festival runs from May 30 to June 5.
Written by Ken Del Vecchio and Robbie Bryan, and directed by Bryan, here’s the synopsis for iMURDERS: A mysterious love triangle leads to a tragic shooting. Months later, eight members of a Myspace chat room are being gruesomely murdered in the privacy of their own homes. What is the connection?
Finally, a movie that’s killing off Myspace members – although in this day and age, any character in any given film that dies is most likely leaving behind a “pimped out” page with all sorts of funny Youtube videos and smiley-faces. (Yeah, like mine.)
