Hellboy shows his face

PJ wasn’t wrong when he reported yesterday that the HELLBOY II site would seemingly be showing off a new poster every day this week as they’ve just tossed up a picture of Big Red himself.

Not that you didn’t know what Ron Perlman looked like as Hellboy – but this is what Hellboy looks like after eating three Big Macs and chugging a fourth of Wild Turkey. Frankly, I look a tad like Hellboy after doing that my own self…

I’ve heard from people who have seen the HELLBOY II set in Budapest that this will be a VERY visually impressive flick, and folks who thought the first one was okay, not great (moi), have cause to get their hopes up. Plus, Guillermo del Toro has obviously reached a higher tier on the filmmaker’s bracket since PAN’S LABYRINTH came out and was french-kissed by fanboys and critics alike. (I just know that I’m still tickled by a HUGE movie with tons of money invested in it that features Ron Perlman in the lead. When he’s not Hellboy, he can be found in movies like 5IVE GIRLS.)

We’ll all be able to see for ourselves next July!

Alright, 5IVE GIRLS isn’t so bad, it’s got the lovely Jordan Madley in it, a personal fav.
