I have to admit I can’t wait to see THE ORPHANGE when it opens limited on December 28th. It just looks creepy to the point where it can actually get under my skin, unlike many other horror films coming (besides THE MIST, you must see THE MIST).
Anyways, Yahoo Movies got the exclusive new US trailer for the Guillermo Del Toro produced film THE ORPHANAGE, and wow it’s so much better than the other one. The original US trailer made the film look terrible, while the Spanish trailer made the film look awesome. But therein lies the problem because everyone in the US is going to get preconceived notions of what the film really isn’t from the original US trailer! I’m glad to see that someone was ballsy enough to make a trailer that actually makes the film look like what it is.
If you head over here you can check out the new trailer. THE ORPHANAGE was written by Sergio G. Sánchez, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona and produced by genre genius Guillermo Del Toro. Like I said, it will be getting a limited release on December 28th, with more cities to follow, I’m sure.
