Major F13 details!

A day after leading you toward Bloody Disgusting’s casting breakdown for Marcus Nispel’s FRIDAY THE 13th, I’m going to shove you toward CHUD, where the boys are spilling the beans on what the opening sequence is going to be, as well as what we can expect from the film as a whole.

The good news is (Read no further if you don’t want any info!) we’re not going to be breaking new ground with this film. No tortured childhood/white-trash family, no psycho-analyzing this mythical monster – basically it’s a rehash of the first four films (without Mommy Voorhees, outside of her head being kept as a paper-weight by her baby retard). This is a positive development. The only real “delving into” that the script appears to be doing in terms of Voorhees is an explanation as to what exactly he is – man, zombie, spirit? CHUD doesn’t divulge the full details, but it appears that Jason is all man baby, and he’s got some tricks up his sleeve.

Check out the full article HERE, then u-turn your ass on back and spit a few bullets – let us know what you make of it.

(I would LOVE it if they used the above art, or something very similar, for the remake. I honestly think it is one of the great horror movie posters.)
