Only a few days until After Dark’s Horrorfest hits theaters – their “8 Films to Die For” has shaped up to be an interesting mix of flicks, and all of them look properly freaked-out and intense.
One that I know only a little about is BORDERLAND, and we’re proud to display the creepy poster for it, as well as a batch of stills.
BORDERLAND’S plot is simple enough: Three friends travel to a Mexican border town, and stumble upon a human sacrifice cult, which includes Sean Astin (not the dreaded Sean Astin!). Of course, its “based on true events,” but good luck finding a horror movie that isn’t nowadays (although it’s probably true that three guys got into a car and drove to Mexico one day). It was directed by Zev Berman and also stars Brian Presley, Rider Strong, Jake Muxworthy, and the scrumptious Marth Higareda.
