AMC has announced they’re setting up a sci-fi/horror series with THE OMEN scribe David Seltzer (right) called 99 STORIES.
The series revolves around a group of strangers invited to tour a newly constructed multipurpose 99-story building who then find themselves trapped in it with no way out but up. The strangers find they are at the mercy of a technological brain that electronically controls every element of the building.

Seltzer offered this mysterious tidbit: “What’s going on there is not about the people trapped inside, it affects the rest of the world.”
I guess the concept sounds promising, I suppose one could say it’s LOST inside a building, with an elevator instead of a smoke monster. (Although that’s not such a great pitch, is it?) Toss in a little CUBE and you’ve got your 99 STORIES.
