The poster for JOHN RAMBO is pretty much what I expected it to be – that is, a gigantic close-up of Stallone’s scowling mug, which is so frightening, you actually get your ass beaten just by looking at it. The only thing missing is a glimpse of the mutilated, savagely murdered Burmese soldier that no doubt lays at Rambo’s boots… Ah but we’ll be haunted by those images enough after the film’s January 25th release date.

In the fourth installment of the not-ready-to-die series, Rambo assembles a group of mercenaries and leads them up the Salween River to a Burmese village where a group of Christian aid workers allegedly went missing. The flick, which was directed by Stallone, also stars Julie Benz, Matthew Marsden, and Paul Schulze.
