Following the success of last year’s 8 FILMS TO DIE FOR: HORROR FEST by After Dark Films (read my interview with head honcho Courtney Solomon HERE), comes a brand new marathon of horror flicks, due to hit theaters (for a limited time only) Nov. 9.
Executive vice president of creative affairs & acquisitions Stephanie Caleb (who I also talked to but didn’t get it recorded, dammit) talked to Fangoria recently about what’s in store for us – giving them two of the eight films to be featured:
Dario Piana’s THE DEATHS OF IAN STONE, which is produced by Stan Winston, concerns a young man who is cursed to relive his murder over and over again. (think GROUNDHOG’S DAY in hell!)
Then there’s Rolfe Kanefsky’s NIGHTMARE MAN, which tells the story of a woman who uses an ancient fertility mask to spice up her sex life (sounds like a fool-prrof plan to me), only to have horrific visions of the evil spirit trapped within the mask. Horror hottie Tiffany Shepis co-stars, so count me in!
I’m going to do my best to find out what the other flicks on the slate are, so keep checking back and we’ll see what I can dig up!
