Iron Maiden is typically known for earth shattering concerts, longevity, and ridiculously loyal and sometimes annoying fans. So it may come as a surprise to you that their frontman, Bruce Dickinson, has written a horror film called THE CHEMICAL WEDDING. The film is reportedly a supernatural thriller directed by Julian Doyle, editor of Terry Gilliam’s BRAZIL. The “news” portion of this article is that the film has just started rolling film, but no target date has been expected.

The film follows Simon Callow as a Cambridge professor who becomes a reincarnation of notorious occultist Aleister Crowley (a role that, at various points, Malcolm McDowell and Roger Daltrey were said to be attached to).
