New ending/title for Last Resort

I had not heard of the Chris Moore-directed thriller LAST RESORT until just a few moments ago – and now I have to go through the exhausting process of forgetting that particular title, since the film is being renamed. Now it will just be known as KILLERS. Ah… less words.

That’s not the only thing I have to forget though – I have to forget the excellent BATTLE ROYALE ever existed, since LAST RE- dammit – KILLERS has seemingly hijacked the basics of its plotline and claimed them for its own. ShockTillYouDrop writes that the story concerns a handful of college grads who venture out to a remote vacation home and are forced to kill each other by sunrise. The last one standing is free to leave.

Unfortunately, it was realized well after completion that the ending wasn’t “insane” enough, so now all involved are going back into production to shoot a new finale.

You may remember Chris Moore as the colorful executive producer of all those Project Greenlights. I wonder if he yelled at himself throughout the production of KILLERS…? The flick stars cutie Agnes Bruckner (above), Patrick Flueger, Theo Rossi, and hey another cutie, Taryn Manning (below).
