Don’t get me wrong, I like gore as much as the next horror fan, but I think it’s starting to run its course and needs to go into hibernation long enough for the psychological horror films to come back to fruition. So with that said, I’m excited to hear that VACANCY writer Mark L. Smith’s script titled THE HOLE has been picked up by Bold and Benderspink.

The story revolves around two brothers who discover a mysterious hole in the basement that leads to their worst nightmares. Talk about serious “f*ck with your mind” potential. The film will be produced by Michelle Litvak and David Lancaster.
