Charles Band – the name just makes me think of f*cked up dolls and puppets and all sorts of mischievous little bastards who nibble at the shins while cackling menacingly (I’m not talking about Danny DeVito either).

Far be it from Band to stray away from what’s been his bread and butter all these years, as he’s again tackling the small and spooky with DANGEROUS WORRY DOLLS. That’s right, they’re dangerous!

Band’s blog describes the plot succinctly:

It’s a crazy story about five 1/2 inch unique little “day of the dead” type characters that crawl into a chicks ear and take over her body!!!

Yeeeah… I’ll let Dread Central take a crack at expanding on that a little, Charles, if ya don’t mind? What’s that, you’re too busy mucking around your children’s toychest looking for the plot of your next movie? Okay then …

Dangerous Worry Dolls takes place behind the cold, metal doors of a woman’s detention center on the edge of the desperately hot desert. It’s here where the women endure the wrath of prison life as they are subjected to harassment by fellow inmates and some of the guards. But when Eva’s daughter gives her mom a handful of worry dolls for protection, the dolls take over Eva’s entire being, and payback is a bitch!

So it’s EVA who has worry dolls in her ears! Dun dun dunnnn… I will certainly be keeping you guys updated with WORRY DOLL – sorry – DANGEROUS WORRY DOLLS news as it floods in.

Don’t worry, be happy!
