It was almost Spring – March 12 to be exact – and a newbie internet journalist sexily named Eric Walkuski was writing his very first article – about a ne’er-do-well little picture named ROGUE that just couldn’t seem to find itself a release date. In that hopeful story, however, the brash young writer announced with gusto and assurance that the Australian crocodile yarn had finally found itself a home in an April 20 slot, and the world would finally be able to look upon the Greg McLean-directed film that had evaded us for over a year…

Uh, yeah, well what the f*ck happened? Here it is, August 2nd, and we still haven’t seen this f*ckin thing! ROGUE, you’re making me look bad, punk!

Well, no worries, because now I’m here to state unequivocally that ROGUE will be released domestically by Dimension Extreme (because Dimension’s movies are for pansies) on October 12.

No, no doubts about it. As multiple sites have been saying this, I’d bet my life on it being an absolute fact. (Just like when I confidently reported that SKINWALKERS would come out on March 30…. ah, shhhiiiiiiiiit).

At least I can count on Radha Mitchell always being there for me…
