It seems like every other month we hear Frank “the man who made Batman hate Superman” Miller talk about why SIN CITY 2 is being delayed. This entry into the Miller “Sin City Developmental Hell” chronicles shows Miller badmouthing the Weinsteins for the delay. During a panel at Comic-Con, Miller was asked about the delay and he threw the blame the way of the Weinsteins, but failed to clarify why.
According to Dark Horizons Miller “confirmed that he and Robert Rodriguez have a script ready – an adaptation of A Dame to Kill and some of the book’s other short stories — but left the cryptic hint that the Weinstein’s themselves are part of the hold up — likely tying into the fledgling distributor’s lack of success so far at the box-office.”
