We’ve all seen a few shark movies that aren’t titled JAWS and we know how they usually turn out – sucking to high hell. A new shark movie is coming to the small screen and just might live up to expectations. The film is called SHARK SWARM, and the two-part series stars Daryl Hannah. Surprisingly, SHARK SWARM is being put together for the Hallmark channel, but don’t be surprised if the film makes it to another network.
One of the reasons this film has got some pop in its horror step is the enthusiasm the writers have for the horror genre, as Fangoria calls them “two hardcore horror fans (first-time scribes Matthew Chernov and David Rosiak).” Also, another reason this movie might rock is the premise: it’s a freakin’ movie about sharks that start swarming a small coastal town, which of course leads to bloody water and torn limbs.
