The Aussies have joined the DAYBREAKERS party, as Aussie actor Vince Colosimo has joined the cast. DAYBREAKERS has already compiled a fairly impressive cast list, as Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe already are headlining the flick. Colosimo’s prior credits include projects like THE HARD WOOD and CHOPPER .
DAYBREAKERS was written by Michael and Peter Spierig and the duo will also direct the film. The film’s plot is set in 2016 and it has been 10 years since a plague transformed ordinary people into Vampires dependent on human blood for survival. As the human race nears extinction and the Vampire population grows desperate for blood, but a group of rebel Vampires battle military forces to save the last vestiges of humanity.
