While we all wait impatiently like an 8 year old who has to go pee-pee for TRANSFORMERS to hit theaters July 3, we can get an early start basking in the metallic glow of those clunky changelings as the video game rolls out everywhere today.
What’s sweet about the game is that it’s actually TWO games in one. You can either be a noble Autobot, who wants to save the world and Megan Fox (who wouldn’t?) from destruction; OR you can be a badass Decepticon, who delights in stomping on buildings and dumping the books of those Autobot goodie two shoes (think I know which side I’m gonna be on, hehehehe…)
From Activision bigwig Will Kassoy: “TRANSFORMERS: The Game lets you choose your side – Autobots or Decepticons – to either protect or destroy Earth. The game features fully destructible environments, an army of playable characters, split second changes from robot to vehicle form and a storyline that goes beyond the film to include some elements from the property’s long history that will also appeal to Generation 1 fans.”
