The boys at Bloody-Disgusting scored some interesting casting news over the weekend, for Uwe Boll’s upcoming masterpiece, ALONE IN THE DARK 2!
Yes, while the Arrow had a role in the first ALONE IN THE DARK, it’s safe to say that the film didn’t merit a sequel in the least (unless, of course, the sequel was star Tara Reid naked for an hour and a half). But alas, that’s just how Boll roles, and judging from the alleged cast, he’s downgrading in places, and excelling in others.
Word around the campfire is that Rick Yune, Ralf Moeller and
Lance ‘the man’ Henriksen have all been cast in the sequel, which revolves around a group of “witch hunters” tracking down a witch named Elisabeth Dexter. While I can’t say that the story sounds all that enticing, and Yune & Moeller do nothing for me at all, but I will say that anything with Lance Henriksen is worth at least one watch in my book! How does Boll always seem to score at least one great actor in any of his movies? He must really be good at selling his shite, that’s for sure.
