Diablo is Legendary

While I’ve never played it before, the cover to the box of the video game DIABLO is one that’ll I’ll always remember. I’m not really sure why, as there’s nothing spectacular about it, it’s just somehow memorable. Maybe it’s the flaming logo. Who knows?

But that’s besides the point, as it looks like Legendary Pictures, the same folks behind 300, SUPERMAN RETURNS and the upcoming THE DARK KNIGHT, is developing a screen adaptation of DIABLO for some unknown date in the future. That’s right, a DIABLO movie!

Like I said before, I haven’t even played the game before, but that doesn’t mean I’m not stoked for this! The game revolved around the title character (played by you) trying to rid the planet of demonic minions. What’s not to love there? Plus, there’s been a gabillion sequels to the game (ok, so only a few), so it has to be good, right?

As long as it doesn’t turn out anything like DOOM, I think we’ll be ok. To check out the full list of films currently in development, go ahead and click HERE and stick around for more on DIABLO as we hear it!
