Fangoria
had a little
sit down with director
Chris .R.
Notarile who will be directing the film that he co-penned with Brandon Slagle
entitled METHODIC. Seemingly like any other B grade horror film that
get’s churned out just about every day, the flick does have a single saving
grace that I think will definitely help set it apart from others; the killer
will use a sledgehammer as his killing implement.

I know this doesn’t seem like a very big deal,
but think about all the horror films where an edged weapon is used. Now think of
all the ones where someone stalks people with a 20 pound sledge. The latter is
not nearly as represented as the first, but is most definitely as cool if not
cooler.

Referred to as horror’s first ‘basher’,
METHODIC
concerns
a young boy who is possessed by an evil presence called “The Dollman” and is
driven to murder his parents on his birthday. He’s committed to an asylum, where
the Dollman continues to lurk within him, waiting for a chance to fully take
over his host and wreak further havoc.

I think that this thing has definite potential,
and even if it sucks completely it’s a nice excuse to see hottie Rachael Robbins
(below) on screen. To read more about METHODIC, check out the full
