30 Days poster?

If this is the official poster for
30 DAYS OF NIGHT
, the Steve Niles graphic novel adaptation about a small
town in Alaska that gets raped by a group of vampires while the town does their
annual ’30 days without sun stint’, than I am most definitely pleased.

Found over on Niles’

MySpace page
, the poster is looking absolutely
wonderful in it’s simplicity and two color palette. Also the poster does a great
job at echoing the type of artwork that was done in the original trade by Ben
Templesmith.

Also,

rumor has it
that the teaser trailer may be
premiering before Eli Roth’s HOSTEL: PART 2 which open’s this weekend. I
have to admit that while I’m not the biggest fan of Josh Hartnett, I cannot wait
for 30 DAYS to hit the big screen. Niles is one of today’s best horror
comic writers and it’ll be cool to see what’s been done to the original graphic
novel to adapt it to the screen. 30 DAYS OF NIGHT hits theatres October
19th.
