Crispin’s Gore Trailer

We’ve known that Crispin Glover is one wacky bastard for awhile now, and his latest role as Montag the Magnificent in Jeremy Kasten’s remake of Herschel Gordon Lewis’s WIZARD OF GORE is yet another example of how crazy he really is. I’m not bashing the guy, I frickin’ look forward to everything he’s in, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s totally loopy- and yes, we all love him for it!

The first trailer for GORE debuted online this past weekend, a few words came immediately to mind: gorey and bizarre. But more bizarre than anything else. If you liked the two magician movies of last year (THE ILLUSIONIST and THE PRESTIGE), then you’ll dig this, as it looks like the horror magician movie we’ve all been waiting for. As I haven’t seen the original 1970 classic, I can’t really say if it’s looking true to it’s source material, but I can say that it’s looking awfully… well, bizarre!

The flick co-stars Kip Pardue, Bijou Phillips, horror legend Brad Dourif and… The Suicide Girls! Sweet! So do yourself a favor, check out the trailer below, and watch in awe as the Glover is unleashed in full force.
