Rogue gets Infested

Scott Sigler’s book INFESTED
must be some hell of a read because Rogue pictures have already acquired the
rights to it’s movie, even though it won’t even be into print until next spring.

According to Ryan over at

Shock Till You Drop
, Adrienne Biddle, Alex
Heineman and Valerie Cates over at Rogue pictures will be producing INFESTED,
which details a race against escalating terror, as a CIA
black-ops specialist and a Center for Disease Control scientist team up in the
struggle to contain a parasite that is rapidly spreading across America. This
bug’s bite turns ordinary people into crazed serial killers. The trail of
corpses of both the killers and their victims soon leads to an infected man,
Perry Dawsey, fighting a bloody battle for control of his own mind and body. Can
Dawsey stave off his and humanity’s nightmare?

Apparently this will be the first in
a series from Sigler, with at least one more following this one. I can’t believe
this guy gets his book published and turned into a movie before I get my
book NURSERY SCHOOL CATACLYSM: THE STORY OF PUCKETT JONES (A buddy cop
flick where the twist is that everyone’s only 3 years old. Come on Hollywood,
that’s pure gold!) even read by a publisher. Geez, some guys have all the luck.
