Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures is, as you probably know already, in the process of launching a website called FEARnet, which is a pretty wild site featuring short films/t.v. shows, horror updates, among many other things (check it out HERE). Today we received a press release concerning their first show: THE DEVIL’S TRADE.
I’ll let the release speak for itself:
On June 6th, FEARNet, the world’s premiere horror and thriller website and on-demand cable TV service, will launch Devil’s Trade, a chilling, all-new short form mini-series produced by Ghost House Pictures, a venture between Raimi, Rob Tapert and Mandate’s Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane. The project marks the first Raimi produced content to hit the market following the record-breaking success of Spider-Man 3.
Launching through FEARNet’s on-demand cable, streaming internet video website as well as mobile devices, Devil’s Trade follows three teenagers who incur the wrath of a horrifying curse after purchasing an item off DevilsTrade.com. The spine-tingling action will unfold over seven, 3-5 minute minisodes that will be released on a weekly basis.
Devil’s Trade represents the first of two minisode projects that Raimi’s production house is developing exclusively for FEARNet.
Pretty awesome concept I think. Dont forget to check it out, June 6, at 6pm.
