It looks like Hilary Swank has found her calling as the next scream queen- or at least, she hopes so. After starring in April’s lackluster

Swank is set to play the lead heroine hunted by vampires in the adaptation, which apparently tells some semi-true stories of the horrors surrounding the set of ’60 Minutes’. Yeah. No joke. Apparently the whole thing takes place in a newsroom for a TV News magazine called ‘The Hour’, where half the cast and crew are actual vampires. Talk about bizarre.

Swank can act her nuts off when given the right role, but when she’s handed crap… well, go see THE REAPING and see what I’m talking about. The concept here is just weird, but I haven’t read the book, so who knows- maybe it works really well. Stay tuned for more on FANGLAND as we hear it!
