Just yesterday I told
ya’ll about the latest pics from the upcoming sci-fi horror flick THE
INVASION. And while I admit that the stills were slightly bland, this new
teaser poster that can be seen above has a definite creepy appeal. (Or reads
creepy at least.)
THE INVASION is a re-envisioning of the
Jack Finny novel The Body Snatchers, and while it
definitely seems like it falls into remake country, a place that makes my
testicles want to go up into my body and hide, it has been stated on more than
one occasion that this film will NOT be a remake of Phillip Kaufman’s
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS;
which is awesome since that flick rocks so hard that it should never be
remade again.
THE INVASION is scheduled to land in theatres
come August, and to help ease our anticipation as to whether this thing will pop
or flop, here’s a nice pic of INVASION star Nicole Kidman.
