It’s tough to help cure an unhealthy obsession
like the one I have with zombies, when more and more flicks like this one just
keep churning out. I guess this will just mean that my demons will still be with
me in the morning and we now all have a new zombie flick to thank for that!
The poster seen above (courtesy of
Fangoria) is the latest in horror from Empty House films called 2.
Following a pair of
survivors in a post apocalyptic world where the rest of the population have
become the walking dead, the film was written by Andy Davis and Al
Lamanda and also directed by Davis.
The amount of indie zombie flicks that seem to be
pouring out nowadays is astronomical, which for me is great, but I know a lot of
people get tired of seeing the same thing over and over. Fortunately based on
the trailer for 2 (which can be viewed below courtesy of YouTube) it does
seem like 2 has focused on a nice psychological angle with the survivors
which includes something of a mental breakdown. Otherwise I totally missed the
theme of the thing.
