If you were to go grab a blender and
toss in your copies of
ALIENS, TREMORS,
and
FEAST I’m guessing you would end up with a
bunch of ruined DVD’s. However if you were to take the concepts from those films
and mash them together, I’m guessing you would end up with UNEARTHED.
UNEARTHED is about
an archaeologist who is obsessed with the mysterious disappearance of an ancient
Native American people, and when a subterranean lair in the New Mexico desert is
uncovered, a blood-thirsty creature is unleashed on a small town. In the wake of
the carnage, the people’s only hope is a quick-thinking rogue sheriff and the
ritual medicine of the lost tribe.
Well the trailer for UNEARTHED
can now be seen
here, and is looking pretty sweet. It really is
reminiscent of the films mentioned above and the fact that Canadian uber-hottie
Emmanuelle Vaugier is starring in it doesn’t hurt it in the least bit!
UNEARTHED will be playing at this years Tribeca film fest, and for more info
